Agreeing
By installing srcprism, creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to these terms. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you can bind it, and “you” means the company. You must be at least 16, and old enough to make a contract where you live.
The licence
srcprism is licensed, not sold. While you follow these terms and, for paid features, keep a plan current, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run srcprism on the machines you activate. srcprism is closed source. Do not copy, resell, or sublicense it; do not get around its licence checks; and do not reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows that despite this term.
The tool checks your licence with our server about once a week. If it cannot reach us, it keeps working for 3 more days, then the paid commands pause until it can.
Your account and keys
Keep your account details accurate. Your API key (sp_live_…) acts as you: keep it secret, and rotate it from your account if it leaks. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
The trial and plans
Each machine gets one free 7-day trial, which starts when it first signs in with your key (srcprism auth). After that, the paid commands need a plan. Capture, getting your record back, and reading what others share with you stay free.
Plans are sold by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), our merchant of record. You buy from Polar under its Buyer Terms, and we license srcprism to you under these. Subscriptions renew at the end of each period until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay, and Polar adds any tax due. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your plan. Team pricing is set when Team ships.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel any time from the Subscription page of your account, or by email. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, and are not charged again. Nothing on your machine is deleted.
Ask within 14 days of any charge (first payment or renewal) and we refund it in full, through Polar, to the original payment method. A refund ends the plan it paid for. After 14 days, elapsed time is not refunded unless the law requires it. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your right to withdraw lapses once you start using srcprism; the 14-day refund gives you that window anyway. Please write to us before opening a chargeback.
Your content
Your sessions, code and everything srcprism records stay yours. They live on your machine, and we claim no rights over them. To run cloud backup or a team, we store data only in sealed form, as the privacy policy describes. Your backup key is the only way to open your backup: if you lose it, we cannot recover the backup.
You decide what you share. A PR share is readable by anyone who can read that repository. It shows the asks that wrote the PR, masked but not encrypted, so check it before you push. You are responsible for having the right to record and share what you put through srcprism.
Other services
srcprism works alongside services you choose: your coding agents, your model providers, GitHub and your git host. They run under their own terms. Calls srcprism makes to them on your behalf use your keys, and any charges they bill are yours.
Acceptable use
Do not use srcprism or our servers to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- attack, probe, overload or get around the security of our service or anyone else's;
- share an account or key beyond the seats you pay for, or claim extra trials;
- store anything on our servers that is not sealed srcprism data, or use them as general file hosting.
Ending
You can stop at any time and delete your account from the dashboard. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it. If we stop offering srcprism, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid time that remains. Whatever ends, the record on your machine stays there.
Warranty
We work hard to make srcprism reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. srcprism reads what coding agents wrote; it does not guarantee that code, or a summary of it, is correct. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, or US$100 if that is more. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
Disputes
Please write to us first. Most things are faster to fix by email.
Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes, we will email account holders at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using srcprism after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel before they apply, and we will refund the unused part of your current period.
Everything else
These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us. If a part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not waiving it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business. Questions: support@srcprism.com.
